Primitive Campsites
Tent camping here means shade from old oaks, birdsong in the morning and easy walks to the water. We offer both a primitive campsite and a campsite with power, so you can keep things quiet and unplugged or run a fan, string lights and charge your phones overnight. Every site sits within reach of our three bathhouses, the campground store, laundry and propane, and guests of all ages are welcome year-round. Spend the day on the sandy beach along the Tangipahoa River, cast a line in the 8-acre fishing lake, wander the nature and golf cart trails, cool off in the pool or let the kids loose on the playground. Downtown Hammond, Ponchatoula's antique shops and New Orleans day trips are all close by. Grab your tent, your fishing pole and your favorite people, and reserve your spot with us. We'll keep a shady site waiting for you.
