Hidden Oaks Campground near Hammond, LA

Wow what a true campground! This is what I remember in the days of yore. It’s raining and someone still stops to ask if you need help. A front desk that saw you parked late the night before and didn’t want to bother your weekend the next morning; just said thanks for coming out when I checked with them the next day. Trees galore, clean grounds and site, a long full beach on the river. To top it all off they have the best price in the area and are close to everything. This is what camping should be. Not pavement galore and nickel and dime everything. Thank you Hidden Oaks for letting me share with my family what camping was like when I was their age.

We had another fantastic time at Hidden Oaks Campground, and it already feels like our go-to spot! This place has everything a family need for fun. It is so outdoorsy, very open, and really pretty—getting to see the peacocks wander around is always a treat! Those beautiful large oak trees provide great shade for campers and hanging out. It's a peaceful, clean, and welcoming place that my family found to be the perfect escape, especially when relaxing in the in-ground pool after a day outdoors, and the fishing is great, and the staff was incredibly helpful! Children can play and wander safely while enjoying the sandy beach on the Tangipahoa River

Great place to stay. Cabins are clean and the people that run the place are very friendly,welcoming and nice we will be back.

The staff here are terrific and the cabins are great. You know that you're staying at a five star 🌟 camp ground when you visit with the other campers and their local customers.

Diana was very helpful in answering our questions for an unexpected family gathering and baptism too! The roads are easy to navigate. The designated beach area are clean and very inviting! Our children are excited to return with more friends from homeschool and our church as well!

Quiet peaceful

We stayed 1 night while passing through. The website was very easy to book on. Full hookups were conveniently placed for each site. They advertise many amenities we just didn't have time to use. It was one of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed in. I'd love to return and spend some time.

Day of leaving I blew a turbo hose. Came back to the campground and was treated with nothing but kindness. Allowed me to hook camper back up for my wife and dog while I worked on truck. One of the ladies in the red mustang even brought me to parts store to get my new hose. Always was one of my favorite places.

Awesome place to go with the family

Every time I drive from Florida to Texas and back, I like to stay here. I always bring my tent with me. The campground is clean. The staff are very friendly, and it was just by chance that I found it the first time on my way through. Highly recommended!
